Founded in 1999, Fielder’s Choice, Inc. was originated to service High School and College Coaches, Booster Clubs, Youth Leagues, Park & Recreation Departments, and School & City Maintenance Departments. Our primary service was providing the newest products for assisting with athletic field construction and maintenance. It didn’t take long to realize our clients were more in need of someone to actually help repair, renovate and even construct their athletic fields. With this demand evolved the Construction and Renovation Department, specializing in Athletic Fields.

Fielder’s Choice has built over 400 athletic field, including Football, Baseball, Softball, Soccer, and Lacrosse Fields, as well as Running Tracks and Field Events Areas all over the state of Texas. Ex-Professional Major League Baseball Player and Manager Phil Garner, is the majority owner. Phil’s partner, Tom Worthen runs the day to day operations and has over 20 years of athletic field construction experience, having built University of Houston’s Softball Field, Rice University’s Soccer Field, the Big League Dreams Complex in League City, as well as hundreds of fields in the Katy, Cy Fair, Clear Creek, Conroe, Lamar Consolidated, Goose Creek, Aldine, New Caney, Alief, Klein, Pasadena School Districts, and many more across the State of Texas.
