Areas under swing sets and slides will need to be refilled and leveled with matching material from time to time to prevent larger holes. Remember that rubber mats can be used to prevent the formation of these holes.
 
Otherwise, use hand rakes to return surface material kicked out of the depressed areas by users' feet.
